The Caskey Family Foundation seeks to create positive change, bring hope and empower individuals in the local community. Starting a foundation is something that we have always wanted to do since Kyle became a coach in the NFL. During the Covid-19 pandemic we could not sit on our idea any longer and launched the Caskey Family Foundation. Whether we are able to give back a little or a lot, we are excited about the lives that will be changed and inspired through our work.

Bob was born in Kingsburg, CA, on November 15, 1939, and graduated from Gonzales (TX) High School in 1958. He then attended the A&M College of Texas on a football scholarship and was a proud Aggie Class of ’62. During the end of his high school years as well as his time at A&M, he served 6 years in the Texas National Guard. He also went on to earn his Master of Education degree from Texas A&M University in ‘70.

He also spent one season as an assistant college football coach at Texas A&I University, winning a NAIA National Championship in his one season in Kingsville. Bob had a tremendous love for teaching and mentoring kids. He also volunteered his time coaching little league baseball for many years.
Bob married the love of his life, Judith Ann White, on January 1, 1977. Bob and Judy both retired to a small piece of land, with a pond, outside of Mount Vernon, TX in 1999. Bob was a life-long member of the Church of Christ as well as the Association of Former Students at A&M. He loved the outdoors and was happiest when he was outside tinkering in the garage, playing golf, and mostly while watching the Texas Aggie football team.
Bob is preceded in death by his father and mother, Leonard and Ruby Caskey, along with his older brothers Thomas and Wallace ‘Bud’ Caskey and a half-sister Mary Lynn.
